“Ta’ over” is designed with the length of the body substantially shorter than the sleeves to get a flattering look. If you want a longer sweater, I recommend that you work the body substantially longer than the length of the sleeves to maintain the style and to avoid a ‘boxy’ look.
Sizes:
The sweater has a positive ease of 30-35cm/11.5”-13.5”.
The finished measurement around the bust is S: 110cm/43.25”, (M: 120cm/47.25”), L: 130cm/51”, (XL: 140cm/55”)
Materials:
5.5mm, 80cm/US9, 32” circular needle for rib at the body and/or double pointed needles for rib at neck and sleeves.
6.0mm, 80 cm US10, 32”circular needle for body and/or double pointed needles for knitting the sleeves.
Yarn:
The sample shown is worked with 2 strands of yarn.
950m/1040y (1050m/1150y) 1150m/1260y (1250m/1370y) of Garnudsalg højlandsgarn /shetlandswool/ Holst supersoft yarn/Isager twinni yarn 550m/600y for 100g
and the same amount of a kid silk-mohair yarn 880m/960y for 100g
Other yarns can be used, but keep in mind that using other yarn qualities might lead to a different overall look of the sweater. It can also affect the amount of yarn needed.
