Omtanke = with care
Omtanke is a cowl worked in the round bottom-up with the possibility to adjust the length of the brioche that protects the torso from wind and cold as a collar that doesn’t roll and also the length of the rib that warms the neck. The work starts with brioche and afterward repeats of a small eyelet pattern are worked that transcend into rib. Work in rib to bind off.
Measurement:
Circumference at rib: 50cm/19.75”
Approx total length: 24cm/9.5”
Note! The length of the cowl is/can be worked as desired. The cowl can be worked wider with an extra repeat of Brioche pattern of 12 sts or fewer repeats for a smaller cowl.
